"As always, the kids you send over did a great job of covering all the points that you have listed below. The High School students were prepared, able to keep the groups focused (most of the time-even we teachers can't do it all the time!), and presented their required information in a fun way.

Students Together Educating Peers (STEP) is a program comprised of high school students who pledge to act as positive role models in the school community. STEP leaders are trained to present on and facilitate topics at the elementary schools regarding bullying, peer pressure, and peer refusal skills.
Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU) is a program comprised of high school students who are trained to present and discuss the dangers of tobacco use to elementary and middle-school aged students. As a part of the program, students are REQUIRED to commit to being smoke-free themselves
Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM) is a program comprised of high school students that provides training and leadership opportunities at the elementary schools in the areas of group facilitation, active listening, quick thinking, self-awareness, conflict resolution, and problem solving.
